Oh Canada!

It's time for another group mani. Since July1st is Canada Day I am choosing red to go on the nubbins. I don't do red that often but I have Zoya Reva with a gold shimmer running throughout the polish. It is a one coater. I really like this red and I look forward to using it for my 4th of July mani too. To top off this beauty I chose Girly Bits Hippity Hop. She is from Canada after all. I used Posche as my top coat. Are you ready to see it? I hope you enjoy. . and view all of my friends joining in. They are posted at the bottom of the post.

Nail Junkie Watermelon

Happy Saturday ladies!  Today I have a wonderful jelly to show you. It's from a wonderful summer collection created by The Nail Junkie. They are a wonderful formula. I put on two coats but you really only need one.Watermelon Jelly Shimmer is a neonish bright red/orange color. There is a little shimmer running throughout the polish. But I wanted more so I went back to my stash and pulled out my red Ludurana. I think this is a great combo. I hope you guys like it!
Before I forget Nail Junkie jellies can be purchased here. She currently has five of the summer colors available plus three mattes from a previous collection. Please go show some love! Now on with the pictures. Sorry about the clean up on the last pictures. My camera picks up every spot I miss.

I have a wonderful red polish for you today. My friend Sheila from the Pointless Cafe actually sent me this lovely lady. It kinda matches her personality :)  She is a sweetie and full of fire! Merveille is actually from the 2011 Holiday collection. This polish seems to be cherry red to me with a little bit of gold shimmer running throughout the polish. It applied as a typical Dior. You really only need one coat thanks to their wider brush. I held out an entire day without touching the mani. I got home tonight and had to put a Hits Glitter Forte in gold over the top. So on with the pictures. I highly recommend getting Merveille if you run across it at your favorite Dior retailer.

British Jubilee Day!

We are celebrating the queen today with British polish brands. I have chosen two Butter London's that I purchased from Traci at The Trace Face Philes. They actually layered really nicely together. Each polish applied flawlessly (as most Butter Londons do). I can't wait to acquire more Butter London. Well honestly I just can't wait to get more polish! I need to thin out my stash a little so stay tuned for a blog sale coming shortly. Now on with the show. First up is Victoriana then I layered her with Tart with a Heart. These polishes can be purchased at and other e-tailers worldwide.

New Blog Title :)

Hi Everyone!  In case you didn't noticed. I have changed the title of my blog from Ambiance Shop to Nubbins-4-Nails. I am no longer actively using my old website and it just doesn't make sense for my nail polish blog to have that name. I will be creating a new domain in the future but for now you can still follow me here. Stay tuned tomorrow for British day. A few friends from a nail group I belong to are dedicating our nailz to the queen tomorrow in honor of the 60th Jubilee. All of our nailz will be linked together for your browsing pleaser. Assuming I can load pictures. I am unable to right now.
Wish me luck girls! And thank you for following. I will be adding my 100 follower giveaway but I still need to buy one set of polishes before I announce the prizes AND I will be having a blog sale. Good thing I just had a vacation!!
