Rio Helado 6Harts Polish

A small group of bloggers has decided to spotlight an indie of the month to show our support for all the different indie makers. There are a lot of new brands since I started my collection in 2011 that I have yet to try. We will be linking our blogs so make sure you check out all my fellow bloggers too! This months maker is 6 Harts. I selected Rio Helado to spotlight in this blog post. It's such a fall color! Unfortunately, it is not available for purchase but 6 Harts has plenty of other gorgeous polishes available for purchase on her big cartel site here. A couple of my other favorites are Bat Crap Crazy (brown) and Montana Sunrise (gorgeous orange) Her polishes start at $9.00 and she also carries a Healing Calendula Cuticle Oil that are lightly scented or even unscented for those with scent allergies.

Rio Helado is a deep teal jelly with scattered holo and shimmer. It leans a little  black on my nails but I can still see some of the teal peaking through. On my walk at lunch today the sun came out so I was able to capture a few sun shots for you! The formula was smooth and easy to apply. I used 3 coats for full coverage and one coat of top coat for the photos.

Thanks for reading and keep polishing! Please stop by 6 Harts shop and try her awesome polishes!
