Tri-Polish Challenge Round 3

This one did not turn out at all! I haz a sad face. This mani is using all three colors from the challenge.
Sinful Color Leapfrog and OPI Ink Suede are on half of the nail. I did the tips with Sinful Colors Hazard also. I thought it needed a little something else so I added a dot of hazard and another mini dot of Ink Suede sits inside of that. I think I have clearly shown you what not to do. Welp you can't win them all. See you on Thursday for the final post of the three colors.

Enjoy some much better mani's here

Tri-Polish Challenge-Round Two

Hi ladies!! For today's post the pictures do not do this mani justice. It was so much better in real life and one of my pics turned out blurry so you don't really get to see a pic of hazard today. I did use top coat which gave the mani some shine even though I did use a suede polish. What can I say I guess I like the glossy look.  I was actually successful at stamping Sinful Colors hazard over OPI Ink Suede. Using two of the three colors from the Tri-Polish Challenge colors of this month! Sorry for the short post but there really isn't much to say about OPI and Sinful colors.

Tri-Polish-Challenge-Rnd 1

Hi Readers,
For my big welcome back I joined a low key nail polish challenge in Crumpets Nail Tarts. The basics of the challenge are to pick three polishes in the selected color range and to post four times with those polishes. We may also use white, black, silver, gold and glitter toppers.  The month of March colors to choose from are Purple, Coral, and Green.

I have selected Sinful Colors Hazard and Leapfrog, then OPI Ink Suede.
For my first mani this month I selected Sinful Colors Hazard and Leapfrog. You ladies will see the beauty that is known as Ink Suede on Thursday!  I love my sinful colors polishes. They apply so well and are inexpensive!! I used two coats of each polish and then placed dots on the tips. This is only my second time working with a dotting tool so that is why it is not so perfect. I am trying though. I hope you enjoy my attempt at nail art and don't feel shy about posting your own mani's.

I used one coat of Posche for my top coat and got just a little smear on one of my fingers. Overall I think this was a successful effort. Come back again on thursday and I will have some stamping for you. Make sure you check out all the other ladies who are participating in the challenge at the end of this post.  Thanks for reading.

Kale

I have a lovely combo for you ladies today. I received Chiralty Kale during her last sale and I received Ninja Polish He Went to Jarred from a Secret Santa present. I decided this would make a great after Christmas mani. Kale went on in ONE coat. I absolutely love her polishes and Ninja polish makes some great stuff too. I layered two coats of He Went to Jarred over Kale. And here are the final results!!
You can purchase Chiralty polishes on big cartel here and purchase Ninja polish and all the variety of polishes Rhonni offers here.

Indian Summer

A friend of mine asked me to swatch Indian Summer for her. So into the stash I went to find the perfect undies for this polish. I remembered I also had an untried Girly Bits Denim Diva. PERFECT.. I layered on two coats of DD and one coat (for the most part) of Indian Summer on the nails. One layer of Gelous and one layer of NYC quick dry top coat. What a great combo. The Indian Summer polish mutes the deep dark blue of denim diva but I really do love the two colors together. I hope you enjoy this mani!.

You can buy Girly Bits from around $8.00 to $12.00 multiple places online including: Girly Bits own Big Cartel website, through stockists including the wonderful Overall BeautyHarlow and Co and llarowe.

Grab bag Part 3

Today I have a couple more pics from my grab bag from Jenna Froggy. I am almost done since I received aobut ten polishes.  This next polished called sparkling cherry just blew my socks off. I absolutely love the color. Two coats of polish are applied with a top coat of Posche. I can imagine some great stamping ideas over this polish.  I had never seen this brand before!

Crimson Tattoo is an awesome red vampy polish. As usual I have a tough time with clean up on these dark polishes. But I love the contrast of the dark polish and my skin tone. I then used Klean color over the two coats of Jessica polish for the final look. I hope you enjoy.
