You should stalk Jenna's etsy store for her newest opening. It will be soon. Announcements will be made on her facebook page so I would advise stalking that page too. Sorry for the short post but it has been a hectic day. Thanks for checking in though. I still need to get dinner going. MMMM skirt steak my favorite.. okay sorry a little ADD today too. Now really on with the pictures.

Yellow Day Three - 30 Day Challenge

Well readers,
I was on the fence about this polish originally. However, I decided to order it to see how I would like it on my nubbins. In the end I really like this polish. I decided to not layer it over anything, just to be different for once :)  I hope you guys enjoy Humble Bee by Nailventurous. She no longer sells her polish directly. But Ninja Polish sells some of her polishes. You can stalk there store for Humble Bee and many other fine polish creations here. From the Ninja Polish site:

Humble Bee has yellow glitter and ultrafine and medium size black glitter in a clear base. It has semi-complete coverage in two coats. With topcoat or gelous, Humble Bee can have a shiny finish. However, this polish dries with a matte finish, and the glitter itself does not really sparkle. This polish also looks great as a layering polish. This polish tends to be a tad thick, but application should be easy.

I used two coats of Humble Bee with no topcoat for these pictures. Enjoy:)

Orange Day Two- 30 Day Challenge

Here we are on day two for our 30 day challenge. I actually attempted some nail art today. I am not the best, at it but I do keep trying. In hind sight I should have used tape. I used a mini Crayola orange for my base coat, Julep Alicia, and Dandy Nails Inside the Fire for the tips. I didn't think I was going to love ITF as much as I do. I originally just put this polish on my toes just to be different. I think Catniss could have warn this on her nails to represent the girl on fire :)  Stay tuned tomorrow for yellow polish :)
The pictures as I said didn't turn out so well. So I am going to post a couple of pics from the old archive I think are much better. I just couldn't resist re-showing Dior Merveille. I love this polish. I think I can get away with that as an orange-ish color. If not enjoy it anyways. C U back here tomorrow. Make sure you check out the other blogs at the end of the post. We have some amazing nail artist in this group!

Red 30 Day Challenge

Hi readers.
You all are in for a treat this month. I joined a 30 day challenge. Since I was gone pretty much all day today this won't be a big write up. However the goal of this challenge is to use a lot of untrieds. Today I managed to use two of them. A Sea Lore Arista polish and OPI Gettin Miss Piggy with it. I had already used Zoya Kissy on my Canada day post. Kissy applied wonderfully and I used two coats of that polish. Two coats of Arista on the thumb, middle, and pinkie finger, and Miss Piggy is on the alternating fingers. I thought they went very well together. Make sure you take a peek at my fellow blogger pics at the end of this post. See you all tomorrow for orange day..

Ama Dablam

It has been too long since I have posted for you guys. Today I have a very special polish from Elevation Polish named Ama Dablam. Elevation describes this polish as follows: Clear based nail polish with TONS of glitter. Some would call this a “Glitter Bomb.” You will need to add a top coat to this one. It has a slightly rough texture. I pictured it without top coat so you can see the natural texture.
  • Micro multi colored glitter
  • Micro Copper colored glitter
  • Green Teal Square glitter
  • Blue Teal Holographic Hex glitter
  • Copper colored Round Glitter (they look like little pennies)
I layered this over Butter London Yummy Mummy (two coats). This is one gorgeous combination.
Pre-orders for Ama Dablam are closed so if you didn't order it maybe you could catch it on someones blog sale. But why someone would sell it is beyond me. The colors are wonderful!!
I can't wait to capture this baby in the sunlight.  Are you ready to see this lovely??

To buy any other of Elevation Polishes go to the website hereButter London can be purchased at mutiple e-tail stores. Ulta is having a 2 for 1 sale on Sept 10th so I would be hitting them up!

Collaborative Dotticure Day

Good morning readers. It is time for another collaborative mani! I love these. Today we are all doing dotticure's. I am not all that great at it but the more I try the better I do seem to get. I was feeling Diorish today so out of the stash came Merveille. But what should the accent color be? I looked for a peach/coral color but I have none. I spotted this pretty gold color and thought this might bring out the gold shimmer in Merveille. Merveille went on in one glorious shiny coat. I used Barbara Daly Starlight on the accent nail. This one took two coats to get the coloring I wanted. Then for the dots I used Merveille over Starlight. I was thinking of covering Merveille with Starlight but I just couldn't do it. I really like the subtle look of this mani.

Lady Muck/Rainbow Fish

I'm pulling one from the photo vault ladies. It has been a CRAZY week at work. As usual during the first week of the month for me. I have a gorgeous Butter London and NailVenturous combo. I believe I posted some pics of this before but I did not do a full write up. I LOVE my Butter London I just have a problem being on the west coast that I can never catch them early on the blog sales. I purchased this one from Sephora and then layered a beautiful color from Amy and Nailventurous called rainbow fish. I love all the different little glitters in this polish. One layer of gelous and Seche Vite and the finger felt like glass. The Butter London took two coats for opacity and had zero application issues. Have a great week! If I get my Dandy Nails soon I may get another post up this weekend so lets cross our fingers they get here quick.
