Lotus

I just set up my nailpolish in my spare bedroom. To celebrate I pulled out Zoya Lotus. My current base coat is Orly Nail Defense and Top Coat is Essie Out the Door. I applied two coats of Lotus in these pics. I just caught some sunlight through the windows so the second pic is natural light and the first pic is with a lamp. Enjoy the purple shimmer!

Dior Day

Hi readers!

It's been a long time coming but here is my first blog post of 2014. A few friends of mine decided to get together and have a Dior mani day. I put together my newest Dior, Nubar, and Red Dog Design polish for todays mani.  This is two coats of Galaxie, one coat of Kristal, and one coat of Ballpit. April Tri-Polish Challenge Day Three

Short post for today but I did the mani a couple of nights ago so I figure I would muster up some energy to post my pics. Have had some drama lately then a cold is suddenly trying to attack me. Blah blah blah. Now onto the polishes. I once again have Fever Lacquer Easter Dress, OPI Pedal faster Suzi and Models Own Tropical Sun. For my base I used two coats of Milani white. By my third picture I think I finally cleaned up the nails enough to take a decent picture. It looks fine IRL but the camera picks up every error! Grrrr. I love these three polishes together. I think this turned out pretty good despite my clearly lacking clean up skills. I truly try. April Tri-Color Polish Challenge Post 1

I already had my mani done yesterday for this post. I just ran out of time before putting this up. My apologies. This months challenge colors are pink, turquoise, and orange. I haven't figured out my orange yet but my pink will be OPI Pedal Faster Suzi and turquoise will be FeverLaquer Easter Dress. For this mani I topped off three coats of each polish with Elixir Laquer A Cool Fool. This turned out really pretty. I wanted to stamp an orange polish on top of this but alas my dog was wanting attention so he won.  See you on Thursday for Post 2.
