Silvery Lilac

It's been so long since I have posted. Life is getting in the way darn it. Well today I am posting a beautiful Barry M named Silvery Lilac. This is so gorgeous you should go out and buy it right away. My friend Rachel over at Polished Criminails hooked me up with this. Two coats covered the nails and there is this wonderful shimmer effect in the polish. It was a great suprise to me. Harlow and Co also sells Barry M polish. You can browse their selections here. I also did a mani with Kismet Pajamas. Full coverage was in two coats. I followed up with a coat of gelous and Seche Vite and the nail is as smooth as glass. This is a lovely dark polish that you can order off Whimsical Ideas by Pam's. I believe you just send her an email. I received my polish from Michelle at Things I love at the Moment. If you are not following her blog you seriously should be. Well on to the pictures. I hope you enjoy.

Owen's Mani

My fellow blogger Jacki Gentry just had a baby boy so a group of us our dedicating our mani's this weekend to baby boy Owen! I used Nubar Sapphire Sparkle and then Pure Ice Silver for the stamp. A cute little puppy. I didn't get the puppy dog on all that straight but I thought it still turned out well. It's only my third time stamping. I also have a migraine right now but I wanted to share a couple of photos at least. I hope you enjoy this post. I purchased the Shany plates off amazon.com. Sorry for some of the fuzzy pics but I think I got at least two decent shots out of the bunch.
Welcome to this crazy world Owen!

Denim

I have another gorgeous blue polish for you today. This one is a Barry M polish called Denim. You can get away with one coat on this polish for full coverage. It applies a little matte so if you have a matte top coat it would be perfect on this polish. I used Posche top coat to make it glossy then I put on this new Kleancolor chunky holo bluebell just to add a little something different. I love this polish! I want to try a silver stamp over it next time and I think that would make a great combo. My friend Rachel over at Polished Criminails sent this lovely polish to me but you can buy Barry M polishes off of their website here  Here are the pics:

Joker

Hi Ladies,
It's been a little while but I am coming back with a purple bang. I received this purple confetti polish and put it on my toes and the next day my tracking information for my new Nailventurous polish was in my in box. I was soooo excited for my new lovelies to get to me. I put the purple confetti on my fingers knowing at least two of my new polishes would look great over it. I selected Joker, which is a dark purple polish with green/gold hexes scattered throughout the polish. There is really no need for a base polish. It would've been opaque in one coat. I love this polish and I think will wear this one again really shortly. It matched a purple dress I wore today with my purple painted toes. Here are my pics. They are all the same pose.. next time I will try to get more angles for you but I was rushing to get some pics up for you guys!!

Happy 4th!

Well ladies I attempted some nail art inspired by Sarah from Chalkboard nails. I had not previously used the dotting tool. Here is her tutorial on how to make your own ruffle mani..here. Hers is so pretty! But I don't think I did too badly. I ended up using 6 polishes in the ruffle and one nail I used Pretty & Polished Freedom Calling. The first polish is Ciate Skinny Jeans, OPI Meep Meep Meep, Nails Inc Park Crescent, Zoya Crystal, Reva, & Ginessa. Please remember to check out my friends who are joining in on Independance Day mani's. All of the polishes were easy to work with except for Ginessa was a little light. I wouldn't recommend that polish for this type of nail art. It is very opaque.

On to the pictures. Happy 4th of July.
