Ozotic swatches

Today I just have a mini post for you. I received three new Ozotic's and I am awaiting a few more. So today I used Nevermore from Cult Nails as a base coat for all swatches. It is an awesome black layering polish. Nice and shiny and I got away with one coat and received full opacity. First up is Ozotic 504. This is a purple multichrome.. I would actually label it a blurple multichrome. It is gorgeous and is no longer going to be available. Next I have Ozotic 530 and it is a multi chrome glitter that flashes yellow, orange, and fuchsia. This looks more like a flakie to me than glitter and is actually my least favorite. But I am more partial to the blues and purples. Ozotic 533 Mish Mash is up next on the wheel. The colors prominant in this polish are blue, violet, and pink. This really flashes in the sun. The last one is 534. The prominant colors in this Mish Mash are pink, orange, blue, and violet. These polishes are no longer in production. As of right now you can purchase them from Picture Polish for $11.00 and Llarowe has some on back order. I have seen them on ebay for around $22.00.

These are super shiny and have rainbows in the sun. The sun just doesn't want to cooperate today.
I hope you enjoyed the mini Ozotic nail spam!

Spark

In honor of my giveaway ending tomorrow I put on my newest holographic Nubar called Spark. This is from the Nubar Prisms Collection. I was able to get this baby from a blog sale at The TraceFace Philes a few days ago. She still has polishes for sale so check out the blog sale tab and buy some polish! This Nubar is a pretty sand/gold/beige color with holo sparkles in it. It actually reminds me of the sand glistening in the sun at our local beaches! If I capture this beauty in the sun tomorrow I will add more pictures to it. The first two pictures are two coats. Once I looked at the pictures I realized one more coat would be perfect so the final picture is 3 coats.

What is your favorite Nubar?  You can purchase Nubar on Amazon.com or many other e-tailers. I know Harlow & Co. ships Internationally so check their site out.Come back tomorrow to see who is my 25 Follower winner!

I just received a DS Sapphire from Ashley at Smashley Sparkles plus an awesome China Glaze Some Like it Haute. So those are what I selected for todays special mani. The sun didn't come out much but I did manage a couple of pictures from my car and at work by my desk lamp. This is around three coats of DS Sapphire (it is pretty sheer) and 1 coat of SLIH. I hope you enjoy today's special post. I will be attempting to water marble this week so stay tuned for that. And also if you haven't entered my giveaway get to my 25 follower giveaway tab and enter to win a Nubar polish!.

Wingless

Today I have another Dandy Nail polish for you named Wingless. I believe I can fly with this gorgeous polish on my nails. I chose to layer it with a Ciate polish named Superficial I purchased off of a blog sale from Polished Criminails. It is a beautiful turquoise green and I thought it went perfectly with the turquiose blue and gold flakes of Wingless. I wish I could have captured the beauty of this polish better but this gal did not want to cooperate with my camera. It is great in person and you should buy this polish as soon as Sandy re-opens her etsy shop DandyNails. The etsy notes say she is re-opening Friday so get ready to stalk ladies. Here are some photos for you to browse over.

Biker Chick

Hi Readers!  I have missed you. It has been a busy week with work so I am finally grabbing a glass of wine and writing up this post. I just received my first Alter Ego polish called Biker Chick. Cynthia's polishes are a little bit thicker than your normal glitter polish. You only need one coat for coverage if you use a base color like I did. I wanted to change things up a bit so I put on my China Glaze Stone Cold. Do you have this awesome black matte polish from the Hunger Games collection? Well if you don't you should go out and get it. I'll show you why in just a minute. Cynthia's site is on store envy here:Alter Ego. Biker Chick has steel blue metallic glitter is 2 sizes, black diamond shaped glitter, silver bar glitter, and holographic silver glitter in a very light silver grey base. I love this polish. Since I used a dark base you don't get to see the blue and black glitters as prominantly but they are there. Are you ready to see? I am so let the picture spam begin! Not the best manicure job but the polishes are gorgeous.

Forget Me Not

I have wonderful news readers!! I received my first Dior. This lovely gal is named Forget Me Not. She is a one coater and has a slight scent to her. It doesn't bother me at all. I can barely smell it. I couldn't just leave it plain so I grabbed my favorite topper Knackered from the stash. This combo is absolutely beautiful. She sparkles a lot in the sun. Unfortunately I never had my camera with me when I was outside. But I tried to capture it under my desk lamp. I ordered Forget Me Not and Knackered from Sephora. Check these photos out ladies..Drool buckets ready?

Bad Kitty Gradient

For today I have an interesting purple mani for you. This will be a short post but with lots of pics. I have been wanting to practice gradient manicures for a while so today is day one. I haven't quite gotten the hang of the sponge technique but I just used the brush to get the polish on the nail and then sponged the line to blur it. When I used the sponge the color just wasn't bright enough for me. The first layer is Elixir Lacquer Bad Kitty. I used three coats to get the color I wanted. Then it was one layer of OPI Ink and Save me. The top coat was Seche Vite because that glitter was pretty rough. One layer of SV and then the nails are like glass. Get ready for some picture spam. I think this turned out pretty nice for my first attempt. I'll keep trying to get better!
